📜 Day‑by‑Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive in Rameshwaram
Your driver picks you up from Rameshwaram railway station or Madurai airport (as planned). Drive to your hotel, freshen up, and in the evening visit Agnitheertham for a holy dip. After sunset, explore the Ramanathaswamy Temple – its 1,200‑pillar corridor is a marvel. Stop at the nearby Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple before dinner. Overnight in Rameshwaram.
Day 2 – Rameshwaram to Dhanushkodi & Pamban
After breakfast, drive to Dhanushkodi, the abandoned town at the tip of the island. Walk along the beach where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. Return via Pamban Bridge (photo stop) and visit the APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial. Evening free to explore the local market for shell crafts. Overnight in Rameshwaram.
Day 3 – Rameshwaram to Madurai (170 km, 3.5 hrs)
Check out after breakfast and drive to Madurai. Check into a hotel near the temple. Around 4:00 PM, enter the Meenakshi Amman Temple – spend at least two hours admiring the 12 towering gopurams and the Hall of Thousand Pillars. Attend the evening Meenakshi‑Sundareshwarar wedding ceremony (around 7 PM). Overnight in Madurai.
Day 4 – Madurai Heritage & Surroundings
Start with Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple (one of the six abodes), then visit Tirumalai Nayakkar Palace – a 17th‑century Indo‑Saracenic gem. In the afternoon, explore Pazhamudircholai temple on a hillock, and if time permits, stop at the Gandhi Memorial Museum. Overnight in Madurai.
Day 5 – Madurai to Kodaikanal (120 km, 3.5 hrs)
Leave after breakfast and ascend to the Princess of Hill Stations. En route, stop at Silver Cascade Falls. Check into a hotel with valley views. In the evening, walk to Kodaikanal Lake – hire a pedal boat or simply sit by the promenade. Overnight in Kodaikanal.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast. Depending on your departure, we’ll drive you to Coimbatore airport (4 hrs) or Madurai airport/station (3 hrs). If time allows, stop at the Chettiar Park or take a short horse‑ride by the lake before leaving. Trip ends with fond memories.
